Stop Uncontrolled Federal Spending

July 7th, 2008

The people we have elected to represent us in Washington, DC have been unable to stop borrowing money that you will eventually have to pay back.

It is the responsibility of the citizens of the United States to stop them.

Since 1961 the Federal Debt has Never Gone Down. The Federal Debt is approaching $10 trillion Dollars and the borrowing shows no signs of slowing down.

We need to put pressure on our Representatives to draft a Constitutional Federal Debt Limit that can be increased only in case of a National Emergency.

It is up to the citizens of this country to take action. If you don’t who will? Congress?

Pressure needs to be exerted on all candidates for Federal office and existing Members of Congress.

Since this is currently a one person operation I am looking for ideas and support.

My ambition is to get a nationwide online community going that will put pressure on those who want our votes. It is up to the citizens to turn the situation around.

The question for the candidate is simple. Will you support a Constitutional Amendment to establish a National Debt Limit. What individuals know as a credit limit.

A great quote.

“I place economy among the first and most important republican virtues, and public debt as the greatest of the dangers to be feared. To preserve our independence, we must not let our rulers load us with perpetual debt.”

Thomas Jefferson, third US President, architect and author (1743-1826)
